Didn't expect much since it was so cheap, but I've had it now for almost a month and it has held up great. In the past I've paid well over $100 for Charger but if this one continues I'll keep buying it so that when I travel and charger cord gets lost I've not lost much out of my pocket.

I was schocked by the price but have no complaints at this time. The more expensive cords wear out too quickly with the last one just getting me past my warranty period then out of no where just quit working.

This charger worked for 6 months until the cord shorted out. The actual AC adapter still works, but the cord that runs from the outlet to the adapter died. Since I can't find anywhere to just buy the cord without the adapter, I have to buy a whole new charger. I will NOT be purchasing this charger again. You get what you pay for.

Tried to charge the battery and use it four or five times. Tried reseating the battery, double-checked outlet I was plugged into, and made sure my original battery was still charging and working (it was.) The new battery either wasn't holding a charge or wasn't making proper contact. Hard to know which was the issue. Regardless, it didn't work. Returned it.

This battery works great! When my original HP extended life battery started showing only 67% charged as a maximum (after three or four years - a normal event, as I understand) I started looking for a replacement. The $51.95 price here on Amazon compared to the $149.99 price on HP Direct. It was a no-brainer - works just great - fits perfectly - looks exactly the same - and I'm back to 5 and 6 hours of battery life for 1/3 the price. I'd have no problem recommending this product. Thanks to Google search for the "shopping results" price comparison spot when I entered "extended life battery for hp dv6000". I continue to enjoy the same feature on this battery as the HP version - it raises the back of the laptop up for better cooling.

My old charger quit on me last weekend so I ordered this. I got it well before I expected to and on top of that, it's more powerful than my previous adapter! It's charged my battery to full power in just 45 minutes, which is usually unheard of for Universal Laptop Chargers/AC Adapter (it's both).

I took a glace at the other reviews and from what I can tell, the the buyers didn't pay attention when they ordered. This adapter/charger will work all HP Pavillion DVXXXX (insert your four-digit number here) Laptops and Notebooks. Even if it doesn't look like your old charger, test it out before you call the seller a liar. The adapter/charger I got looks different from my old one (which also happened to be a universal adapter/charger) but I tested it and it works fine.

This item does not match the pictured item. The actual item does not have the 90 degree imput plug to the computer as pictured. I was disappointed in this as I was specifically looking for the 90 degree plug as the original power supplies for the computer tend to have issues with the insulation breaking around the input plug.

I've been using mine for just under a week on an HP dv6000, and so far it's worked great. The connection fits more snugly into my laptop than the factory adapter did, and as for the cord's shortness that other reviewers complained about, I simply switched the AC portion of the cord with the factory one, and now it's probably as long as before.

My question is, why so cheap? I think the adapter itself cost me something like $1.97, and the order total was $8.89! Needless to say, I would definitely recommend this product.
