Ive order these before cheaper at other places and they just got super hot and stopped working. This one is still working strong. I got it because my old one well stopped but also because it wouldn't make a good connection with the laptop so I got a new one.

I have a dv6000 and after my fourth charger stopped fitting the charge port, I ordered this to find that it arrived very early (earlier than my battery that I paid extra for 2 day shipping), but it fits into the charge port securely. This makes my life as an hp user easier, and for a great price. I was skeptical about purchasing after I found $20 chargers, but nothing is wrong with this one and it fits better than the $15 one I got last time. If your charger ever switches from battery/charger even if you barely touched your laptop, this would be a great purchase.

It does work, but the cord is quite short, so you need to be close to a wall outlet and if you want a little more space this might not be for you. Other than that, it seems to be a good product for the price, mine's been working for over a month now with no problems.
