At first, I thought this was a great deal (and it was), but unfortunately it was too good to be true because between the 30 day mark and 60 day mark it just stopped working completely. Had to go purchase an HP power pack instead, and this one is past the 30 day return policy. :(

This cord (and many others that I have purchased in the past) are so cheaply made. This particular cord bent so easily. It got bent from a very VERY gentle fall from my lap which was not a bad fall. My many other chargers did not bend this eaily. Then a few days later it stopped charging. It only worked for a total of prolly a week. I hate it. The worst thing is I paid 17 dollars for one day shipping for this product that cost 13 totaling about 30 something because thats how bad i needed the charger since I use my laptop daily. But it failed very quickly and I am very very disappointed. Never ordering here again.

The only thing I liked about this cord is that it is longer in length. I reccomend buying from somewhere else.

I ordered this adapter to replace the dead one that came with my girlfriend's laptop from HP. The original adapter was 18.5 volts, as this one is said to be according to this page. However, after receiving the new adapter and checking the label, it states 19 volts as the output. 0.5 volts should not be enough to damage anything so I let my girlfriend use it rather than going through the hassle of an RMA. It works fine so far (little less than 2 weeks now) but according to other reviews I'm almost due for the unit to fail. I'm hoping I got lucky and this thing survives at least another year and that I don't have any of the more dangerous results that others have had. Glad it only cost me about $20 after shipping/tax but was disappointed to see that the seller misrepresented the item's voltage output.
