i bought this because my original hp keyboard had liquid spilled over it, and left it on for about three months, by that time the buttons started coming off and some of the letters wouldnt even work, so i saw this product and thought hmmm i should try it out, now i am the type of person to do my homework, for example read reviews before a purchase and watch youtube reviews to better know the product, and for this product i did. i actually had my husband install it himslef, and it worked out like a charm, and still goin strong, typing on it now, i love it and if you decide to purchase this product you will not be turned down, you will get a durable product, and reliable as well. pick this one if need a keyboard for your laptop.

I got this doubting just how much of a perfect fit it would be for my HP DV6000 notebook, but I'm very happy to say that not only do the keys look exactly as the original, but the size and feel of the keyboard is exactly as it should be. I was surprised at how cheap this whole keyboard was when some online retailers sell each key replacement for $6/7 a pop. If you're an owner of the DV6000, you know how the keys get that worn out shiny gross look and you should be very happy to know that this is your solution. Only thing is that it does NOT come with instructions on how to replace it, however I did find an HP instructional manual on how to remove/replace parts, so contact me if you would like to obtain that. It takes about 15 minutes to do it carefully while you keep track of the several screws you need to work with. But it's definitely worth the effort.

I bought this to replace my old power cord for my hp laptop that magically stopped working after my wife started using my computer but that's another story. But anyways she bent the wire so much it loosened the wires on the inside so the power cord stopped working. I definitely thought that was the end for my 3+ year old laptop but I checked on amazon and found this baby and double checked the watts and volts, which matched. So i ordered it, it came in the mail, plugged it in and my dead laptop was alive again. No problems since but I also am keeping my wife away from that laptop and having her use my old dell. So if you have to play around with your power cord in order to get a charge buy this!

I've got a DV6000 laptop, and this is the 4th power cord I've gotten for this thing. The original one broke near the ends, leaving exposed wire, and eventually it stopped working. I ordered replacements from other sites, both of which stopped working very shortly after I started using them.

I'm holding my breath on this one. So far, it's working fine, It's exactly the same as my original one, though, so I've been extra cautious when packing the cord to make sure I don't bend it the wrong way or anything.

I'm sure that if you don't mishandle it, this product should be fine for a long period of time.

But then again, it's HP.

I bought this because it was a lot cheaper than the HP power chord. It worked beautifully for the first couple of months. Then it randomly stopped "fitting" -as if it had shrunk or something. I had to twist and finagle it to get power to my laptop, then broke down and bought the HP chord designed for it, and now all is well. I gave this 3 stars -more than it deserved- because i will never know if the chord was crap or whether my HP laptop was designed to only accept hp chords... which is also crap in my book.

this is the second HQRP charger i have had - this is a replacement for the first that caught fire and burned. this one did the same. the first one actually melted the plug that fits into the brick; it was, literally, smoking and smells like burnt plastic after 6 months of use. this one did not last nearly as long, and the brick itself is toasted - the sticker is all brown and the plastic case of the brick is deformed from heat. i would NOT recommend.

I just purchused a battery for my computer. I charged 24hrs, wich is supposed to be done that way. When I removed my charger and it wasn't charged correctly, even if you try to charge it as long as you want, doesn't charge fully. Still I tried to charge it again and still doesn't work!!, even if on the computer says it is charging and has a full charge and then try to unplug the charger is like you used have of it... I just can't believe that!

I went to move my laptop from my upstairs bedroom on 17 March to my dining room to finish up some schoolwork and when I unplugged the charger from the wall, I heard some particles floating around.
