Ordered and received this charger fairly quickly. It charges my HP pavilion dv6000 and my other Compaq just fine, BUT it gets VERY hot while charging, almost too hot to touch. Buying a new one because I have a weird feeling this might actually be a fire hazard.

The ac cord has the outside insulation already broken off. You get what you paid for!! This is now dangerous to use!!

This was a replacement for a power cord that got damaged. Without it, my laptop becomes worthless after a few hours. The order was processed efficiently and arrived very soon. It was 5 times less expensive than the HP store and the shipping cost was minimal.

I haven't even had this product 2 weeks and it broke well I guess its my fault for not listening to the reviews. But after fooling around with it I realized it was the cord that plugged into the electrical outlet if you get another one you should be golden, however It should of came in working condition and stayed that way. UPDATE: The seller was very nice and contacted me offering me a refund + 5 dollars for inconveinince or a new adapter VERY GOOD customer svc.

Recieved product on time as advertised, but the product recommended failed within 3 days. Power adapter was always a bit too warm. Then on the 3rd day, "snap crackle pop" and the power adapter quit working altogether. Amazon makes refund easy. But I just want a power supply that works for the notebook.
